"Julia Roberts told me the other day that she admired me. How do you think I'm feeling right now?'' – Gladiator composer Hans Zimmer, grinning ear-to-ear.

"She says tomorrow's another day and you're going to be looking for another job.'' – Almost Famous actress Kate Hudson on advice she received from her mother, Oscar-winner Goldie Hawn.

"Suddenly, going to work tomorrow doesn't seem like such a good idea.'' – Steven Soderbergh after winning the best director Academy Award for Traffic.

"I love the world. I'm so happy. Thank you.'' – Julia Roberts, who won a best actress Oscar for Erin Brockovich.

"I want to thank the members of the academy who were bold enough to give me this award for this song which, obviously, is a song that doesn't pussyfoot around or turn a blind eye to human nature. God bless you all with peace, tranquility and good will. Thanks.'' – Bob Dylan in accepting the Oscar for original song Things Have Changed from Wonder Boys.

Oscar winner Cameron Crowe arrives with his wife Nancy Wilson for the ninth annual Oscar party sponsored by In Style magazine to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation in West Hollywood, Calif., Sunday. Cameron Crowe won the Oscar for original screenplay for his rock 'n' roll memoir Almost Famous.

"We live in a great country. If this statue was in Afghanistan it would be destroyed right now.'' – Steve Martin.
